Mrs. Lacy's Magnolia House

Mrs. Lacy's Magnolia House is a quaint tea room located in Sanford, the heart of North Carolina, and conveniently near Raleigh, Apex NC, Pinehurst, Lillington, Siler City, and Fayetteville. They offer lunch daily, Monday through Saturday. Enjoy a lovely, one-hundred-year-old Victorian home, owned by Faye Schulz, which was transformed into a tea room in December 1995.

You can dine inside or sit on the wraparound porch and enjoy a leisurely lunch, a cup of tea, and lots of southern hospitality!

Mrs. Lacys' has been serving the surrounding area for 10 years now. They provide a healthy alternative to fast food. Kiwanis Family Park

In 2018, Lee County Government gave the City of Sanford the front area of Kiwanis Family Park to redevelop. In September 2019, the City unveiled a brand new inclusive playground, Sanford's first splash pad, a half-mile walking trail, two new shelters, and a new bathroom facility.

Kiwanis Family Park's new inclusive playground offers several play features that are accessible to people of all abilities. The park is adjacent to a new, paved half-mile walking trail. The City of Sanford's only splash pad is located at Kiwanis Family Park. The splash pad is free to use. There are benches and picnic tables in the splash pad area. There is also a grassy, shaded area where visitors can sit on their own blankets, towels, or portable chairs. The park is open from sunrise to sunset year-round. Bathroom facilities are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Kiwanis Park Loop is a 1.1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Sanford, North Carolina that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
